# Is my EHIC still valid?

EHIC

Yes, however, what it covers has changed and once it expires, you'll need to apply for a GHIC to replace it, [click here](https://www.gov.uk/global-health-insurance-card) for more information the GHIC including how to apply.  
  
Please note you can no longer use your EHIC in Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein. You can however use a UK passport to get medically necessary healthcare in Norway (for example emergency treatment, or to treat a pre-existing condition).
