How your airline covers you

If your airline changes your flight or cancels it less than 14 days in advance of your trip, then for most flights to or from the UK, the following rules apply:

If these changes result in a delay of less than 4 hours, your airline will not be required to provide any compensation.

If these changes result in a delay of more than 4 hours, your airline will usually be required to provide compensation. They will also be required to offer you rerouting on an alternative flight or a full refund.
