How do you define a UK resident?

Residency

To be considered a UK resident you must have your main home and be registered with a GP in the United Kingdom.

The following are also not considered to be United Kingdom residents:

·       Foreign Au pairs working in the United Kingdom.

·       Foreign nationals working and resident in the United Kingdom unless they have their main home in the United Kingdom

·       Residents of the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or the Republic of Ireland (or any other country outside of the United Kingdom).
